The hotel is housed in two buildings, one of them, MamboMsiige which is a striking example of a traditional Zanzibari mansion with its Omani style arches, intricately carved woodendoors and cool courtyard, to escape the heat of Zanzibar on arrival.
It is believed that the building’s strong and stable structureresulted from the soil used in the construction being mixed with thousands of eggs. The Park Hyatt Zanzibar Hotel celebrated its three years of existence on 8th March 2018 and has quickly become one of the most popular destination for holidays for Tanzanians and tourists alike.
The unique luxurious 5 star hotel is a gem that promotes Zanzibar and adds to the growth of local and international tourist visitors.
